So would you have scanned (US) this lady's abdomen, or just called HIM for a CHF admission?

Well I hope you would have scanned any elderly patient with abdominal/back pain, because it's just so darn easy (most of the time) and will prevent you from missing a catastrophic diagnosis.

Here's what the team saw on a flat and upright KUB view...which made the astute attending even MORE suspicious for pathology in her abdomen...can you tell why?
